These notes cover product capabilities rather than internal maintenance or minor interface fixes. Available changes depend on your workspace deployment.
Latest verified cut release: pilot-2026.09.10.1, published 10 September 2026. Entries after that date describe newer work and are not part of that cut release. Report import and collaboration are available only where enabled.

Dashboard keeps workload counts and quick creation actions, with shortcuts into the matching quotations. Section titled “Review optional parts research before using it”In enabled report-import pilots, preparers can ask one PDF analysis to identify public product details, compare them with private source evidence and select a limited research setup. Research findings require a human decision before use. They do not set a price, accept a quotation or replace independent approval.

Section titled “Transfer work to administrators”Administrators can transfer open work to another active Administrator as well as an Estimator. Review the selected records and transfer receipt as before. Retaining the prior owner as a collaborator still requires an active Estimator.

Section titled “Share preparation and transfer selected work”Where collaboration is enabled, owners and Administrators can add Estimator collaborators to prepare a quotation together. Administrators can preview and transfer selected quotations and handovers. Contributor history stays with the work so independent approval is preserved.
Set quotation review policies
Section titled “Set quotation review policies”Administrators can require site details or allow a recorded Not applicable reason, choose obsolete-component review requirements, set minimum-margin warnings or approval, and control catalogue-price explanations. The external quotation reference can also be required before submission.

Section titled “Price measured materials in their own units”Material rates and quotation lines support metres, square metres, cubic metres, litres and kilograms with up to three decimal places. Review quantity, unit and cost together when changing the pricing basis. In enabled report-import pilots, confirm purchase measurements before applying a measured rate.

Section titled “Find grouped Administration settings”Administration groups settings into focused areas. Company profile, Company settings and report feedback have their own destinations, with the same save, publish and access protections.

Section titled “Resolve report preparation questions”In enabled report-import pilots, open Internal notes from preparation checks to review assumptions, exclusions and questions. Append corrections there, then update scope or pricing before accepting the proposal. If an extracted part count conflicts with a no-parts suggestion, the requirement stays open for review and no material charge is added automatically. Saved human decisions are preserved.

Section titled “Create a report draft ready for review”Enabled pilot workspaces can upload and analyse an engineer’s report, then create a populated quotation for review in preparation. Check scope, company reference matches and suggested rates. Missing information stays visible; required checks and explicit human acceptance still apply before submission. Private accuracy feedback remains optional.

Section titled “Engineer report quoting awaits pilot validation”The report-to-quotation guide describes private PDF upload, source-linked review, explicit draft creation and optional private accuracy feedback. The feature remains disabled until the pilot accuracy, human-review and deployment gates pass. It does not infer prices or replace independent approval.
Move between worklists without rebuilding your view
Section titled “Move between worklists without rebuilding your view”Dashboard workload shortcuts open matching non-archived quotations. Register search and position, and Orders and Timeline filters, stay with your signed-in session while you move between pages. Quotation links and Copy link return to the current record after sign-in, subject to your access.

Resolve checks and keep review comments
Section titled “Resolve checks and keep review comments”Choose Resolve beside an editable preparation check to open its quotation step without discarding your changes. Each pending submission keeps its own unsent approval comment while you review its quotation and return. Failed decisions retain the comment; successful decisions clear only that submission. Reloading or signing out clears temporary comments.

Save from the keyboard and upload evidence together
Section titled “Save from the keyboard and upload evidence together”Use Cmd+S or Ctrl+S for the same guarded draft save as the button. Select several supporting files at once and inspect each result. Retry only failed files. Loading and request failures have distinct feedback, with Retry; failed document refreshes keep previously loaded documents visible.

Find the remaining handover work
Section titled “Find the remaining handover work”Search handovers by quotation, PO, job, customer or site, then filter by status. Open the source quotation from any QC handover card. Source navigation waits for response saves across the list and asks before discarding failed edits. Turn on Show incomplete required controls to focus on outstanding work without changing completion or sign-off rules.

Read the release identifier
Section titled “Read the release identifier”Open Changelog to find the latest recorded cut-release identifier near the heading. The chronological updates can include newer work, particularly on staging. The identifier is a release record and does not assert that every listed update is in that release. Availability follows your workspace deployment.

Section titled “7 September 2026”Save a consistent quotation and protect unsaved work
Section titled “Save a consistent quotation and protect unsaved work”Save draft now keeps details, scope and pricing together. The editor pauses while a save runs, retains unsaved work after a failure and warns before you leave. Changes from another session require a reload and review before saving or submitting. Approval decisions also require the current submission.
Reconfirm handovers after prerequisite changes
Section titled “Reconfirm handovers after prerequisite changes”Changing an answer or reference used by a sign-off clears dependent sign-offs, even if the answer remains complete. Review the changed evidence and sign again.

Section titled “3 September 2026”Cleaner line-item actions and reliable deletion
Section titled “Cleaner line-item actions and reliable deletion”Line items keep Edit and ordering controls visible while Move to section, Duplicate and confirmed Delete now share one labelled actions menu. Deleting a section still preserves its lines in Unassigned. Ordinary retained lines can be deleted from any position; scope-linked parts and access costs remain managed through their asset-preparation task.

Section titled “Faster navigation through long quotations”Quotations with three or more pricing sections now provide an ordered jump row and one-click collapse or expansion of every section. Each expanded section repeats its add-item and labour actions at the bottom, so a user can continue pricing without returning to the section header. The quotation register can also clear its current search, view and workflow-status filters without changing the selected sort order.

Section titled “Optional development support”When enabled for a company, all signed-in roles can open Support development and choose a one-off or monthly sponsorship on Stripe. Sponsorship is completely optional and does not change access, limits, support, feature decisions or feedback.
Companies that ask to be acknowledged may show Development sponsor 2026 or one combined founding-pilot and sponsor label. The badge is company recognition, not a role or paid product tier.

Section titled “Search issued quotations when starting an order”The order-start picker now searches QC numbers, configured external references, sites and customers. It lists the newest QC numbers first and keeps the selected quotation tied to its controlled issued revision.
Personal light and dark appearance
Section titled “Personal light and dark appearance”The user menu now offers System, Light and Dark colour themes. The choice applies immediately, stays in the current browser and keeps notifications aligned with the selected appearance. System follows the device setting.
Site-specific quotation caveats
Section titled “Site-specific quotation caveats”Administrators can connect approved caveat wording to one or more reusable sites. A quotation using one of those sites requires the wording through the normal Caveats review; matching one-off text does not activate the rule.
Received access costs in quotation pricing
Section titled “Received access costs in quotation pricing”Asset preparation can now create independent part and access pricing for the same task. A received access amount appears under Other costs in the quotation and PDF, while staying out of supplier purchasing and obsolete-part checks. Clearing access receipt removes only that access line.

Section titled “Company-controlled order handovers”Administrators can draft, reorder, publish, duplicate, archive and choose a default order handover checklist. Checklists support confirmations, Yes/No branches, short references and authenticated or externally recorded sign-offs. Each order pins its selected published version, so later Administration changes do not alter active or completed evidence. Existing workspaces retain their established checklist; new pilots start with a company-neutral standard.

Section titled “Faster preparation and controlled imports”Prepared assets can be appended to customer scope without copying text, and their part quantities now remain aligned with linked pricing. Administrators can preview and import established supplier, material and labour rate cards from CSV, while quotation owners explicitly review any later rate changes.
Supplier buying summary
Section titled “Supplier buying summary”QC order handovers group the exact issued revision’s part requirements by supplier and provide copy and CSV actions without pretending to create a purchase order.
Vote on what is next
Section titled “Vote on what is next”Authenticated users can cast one changeable vote on a private product ballot. Results appear after voting and remain available after closure, together with the reviewed disposition of each candidate. Voting guides prioritisation but does not promise delivery.
Commercial previews are confirmation-bound: CSV imports and draft rate refreshes stop and request a new review if their mapped values or source records change before apply. Scope-owned quantities now preserve the reviewed unit selling price when the required quantity changes.

Section titled “Company work types and controlled caveats”Administrators can publish company-specific work types and connect caveats to a manual choice, selected work types, the proforma threshold or obsolete parts. New pilot workspaces start with neutral categories; existing controlled wording remains pinned to the quotation revision that used it.
Account setup without email
Section titled “Account setup without email”Administrators can create users and reset another active user’s access with a single-display temporary password. Users must replace it at first sign-in. Password-recovery email is optional rather than a prerequisite for a pilot.
Quotation outcomes and archive
Section titled “Quotation outcomes and archive”Issued quotations can be marked won, lost or closed without changing their controlled workflow status. Terminal quotations can be archived and later restored without deleting revisions, PDFs, notes, documents, approvals, orders or History. Recording a customer order from a QC quotation marks it won.
Safe quotation duplication
Section titled “Safe quotation duplication”Estimators and administrators can use a readable quotation as the basis for a new Revision 1 draft with its own quotation number. Customer, site, address, scope, preparation, pricing and selected caveats remain editable; approvals, documents, notes, orders, outcome and previous history are reset.
Faster quotation retrieval
Section titled “Faster quotation retrieval”The register now has Active, Won, Lost, Closed, Archived and All quotations views. Search includes customer-facing quotation, customer, site, PO, line and asset information, while the selected view, status and sorting are remembered for each signed-in user.
Refreshed customer PDF
Section titled “Refreshed customer PDF”Newly issued quotation PDFs use a cleaner A4 layout, clearer hierarchy, itemised selling prices and a balanced commercial summary. Existing issued PDFs remain unchanged and continue to download from their original revision.

Section titled “Private company pilots”Company administrators can manage company identity, bounded quotation settings, private user access and a write-only OpenAI connection. Pilot users can send structured feedback to a separate private collector, while versioned policy, visibility, usage limits and data exports keep each isolated deployment controlled.

Section titled “Project-view discovery”The Project questionnaire, now available under Feedback → Help shape Projects, links to maintained examples of registers, boards, timelines, calendars, dashboards and connected workflows. It collects evidence without creating live project records.

Section titled “Revision history”Approved and issued quotations require a recorded reason before a new draft revision starts. History groups events into revision chapters, preserves controlled PDFs and keeps an order with the revision that produced it.
Scalable administration tables
Section titled “Scalable administration tables”Customers, sites, suppliers, material rates and labour rates use searchable, sortable and paginated tables. Updating a reference rate does not rewrite saved quotation lines.
